Basic and first: determine for yourself what God, Reality is to you.

I have been exploring several on-line forums about "non-duality". They are all very interesting and I am so happy that the internet is making all this possible. However, I get the impression that the use of the word "God" seems to be a 'no no' among quite a few of those who advocate the 'non-duality'.... I personally think this is very unfortunate.

So, for those of you who are on the path of "self-discovery" and you have come find the insights and wisdom of 'non-duality' helpful but still 'lacking something' and you are not quite sure what that is.....might I suggest that you drop your fear of the word "God" and determine for yourself exactly what God, Reality, Truth means to you:

First of all, I do believe that anyone on the path to Self discovery must begin with God and you must make your own determination of just what God, Reality, Truth is for you.

I found for myself that God, Reality and Truth is Life Itself. God is the One and Only Presence Here....God is All in all that is. .Absolute, Single, Alone, All Encompassing, the very Presence that being this very Here and Now.

I found that my Real Identity is the Awareness that beholds all that is and this Awareness is God's Awareness, Alone, Single and One. Obvious and clearly; This Awareness of God's is never absent, It exists right here and now and it is the only consciousness of being that I can ever be….This consciousness belongs to God. It is God's activity, it is God's Awareness.

There is no 'little me' that is separated from, or responsible for, or that needs to get back to this Awareness that is Being the All That Is and the very one and only self you are and always were. This consciousness is not possessed by anyone. It is untouchable and un-owned by any 'body'; it does not belong to a person, place or thing….all persons, time-space and things are within this Awareness, which is Everywhere Present at all times, no where absent, ever.

We are this Awareness whether we claim it or not. God is being this Life/Awareness we are, whether we admit or not, whether we even care or not. We are what we are regardless of our personal wishes in the matter.

Secondly, we have a Genuine Identity, the Soul of us and This Genuine Self is unbound by time and space and it resides in the heart of Godhead beyond Name and simultaneously everywhere here and now present. We shift our view and identify with the Infinite Light and Mind of God's Being. This is a lifting up to higher ground, where Love begins to work in our lives. It can and It does.

The Real Self is absolutely real.

We do have an Identity, we are not without Identity ….even more so, our Identity stands free and unbound, unbeholden to time and space, yet we find ourselves functioning ever more so well here and now in the world, doing amazing and wonderful good things the 'old separated sense' would never have been able to do.

Our Real Self is One with This Infinite Awareness being All That Is, right here, right now….and yet functions quite intelligently and beautifully in the world of time-space-matter.

Life is more than eager to answer me and take my hand walk me through this world. It is true, watch and see this for yourself in your own life.

We no longer have to be the slave to all the foolishness heaped upon us because we accepted the idea that we are a separate ego in a world of objective multiplicity. We stand free and clear of the nonsense and then more capable of living wisely and fully in the world.

There is for certain The Light, The Truth and The Way always present and awaiting our recognition. And this Light is made for showing up here in our daily lives, it cannot be hidden, so let it shine. It will find a perfect way to function in worldly ways.

Simply put, search again, and you will find Life does not go away….You will find that you are This Life and you are the Child of God …then, when you find that, trust it…and you will live again, feeling born again and unafraid to be yourself, your true self, unique, special, and contributing in all kinds of ways to help 'our world'. If that sounds dualistic, so be it.....but you will discover for yourself it is far from dualistic when you make your own discovery of your Real Self and Live It.

Outside and free from any sense of time entrapped limited identity, you see that you encompass all the world at once. The you become open, a portal where Pure Light flows through into this tangible world scene…We can now live in the world more easily, more capable of dealings 'in the world'….

Here we are no longer standing in the way of Life's bounty and flow….The Heart is open and standing here I am in the portal between life and Eternal Life… a merging sort of thing wherein Genuine Self holds our hand and honestly takes care of us here in the world. We understand the ways and whys of this world scene at hand. That alone makes our lives peaceful and gentle, calm and balanced.

I am so very grateful that I have come to understand many things, and that Grace is my life.... Love has taken my hand and It is Real and makes all things sweet and easy.

Begin with Awareness and then search your heart for the Self that stands Here as This Awareness and Here you find when the 'old concept of me sense evaporates' you are the exchange point, between Above and Below, Outside and Inside, First and Last, Spirit and Matter….

I am not sure if I can say it any better than the words my friend William Samuel wrote: "The terrors of the world are the chrysalis of Self-discovery. We emerge from the necessary far country of ignorance and its anguish to rediscover the Child within and 'return' to the Father's house….."

"..... One can never be happy nor self-satisfied, free of trials and tribulations, free of personal fear or insecurity until he makes a determination of just what God, Reality, Truth is to him".
