Our Attitude and Our Choice By Sandy Jones

Some one brings up the subject and question "what is hell?, is there really a hell"

I would like to put my 2 cents in on this:

Not sure if this will be make sense, put into words....but heaven or hell is really in the 'eye of the beholder'.

It is very much about that little ditty 'when life gives you lemons, make lemonade"....the simplicity and truth of this is so sage!

Whether you want to live in heaven or hell is your choice.

No matter what the situation or 'problem' in our life, it really comes down to our attitude about it and the calling it 'good' or 'bad'.

It is our 'judgment' of what we see that is the issue. If I judge it bad or hell then it is that. If I judge it good and right, then it is that. The scene is the same, but the attitude within us, the state of the heart and mind of the person living their life and the events or situations, the inner eyes is where we make heaven or hell.

We are the ones who make it good or bad.

And remarkably, when our heart sees it as good, then we find ways to make 'lemonade'!

What we live from within is what we will see 'out there'...it goes both ways because then what we see out there is altered by our inner vision.

The attitude and heart of us, when we see it all as good, then we are not afraid, we are free and we will then get out of our 'misery' and thusly find the means and energy to do the work and actually change the appearances.

We can always and actually materialize the Beauty, Love, Light and Grace in our heart and turn something not so good into something really profoundly moving and extraordinarily wonderful.

But, the point is that no matter what the situation we do not have to change the situation, we just change our view and labels of it....we are the ones that make anything and everything heaven or hell.

We can turn anything, even perfectly wonderful days into 'just a living hell' (and you have seen people do this) or we can see all the ills and pains and troubles of our life (and those of the world) as not that at all!

We are capable of seeing "heaven spread over the face of the earth',

It is within us.

Look at the Beauty beyond the 'appearances' when Christopher Reeve and his loving and adoring wife cared and loved so much beyond the 'flesh'. They made a real and lasting heaven out of a temporary hell.

I choose to see my world from the eyes of Something Real and Evelasting and More than this world of appearances and This Light is always shining here clearly within my heart ( as It is always in yours, too). When we live with heaven 'inside' then we must, by the nature of being, see it through our being and thus 'out there' in any situation, despite what 'others' might think or see.....heaven or hell is up to us, it is an inside job...it is within us and it a choice.

The situation may or may not change, but we do. We change.

We hold the power of 'attitude' and we are very capable of changing our attitude and our vision and that is the most marvelous of things ever.

That is my take on it for whatever it is worth.
