About Sandy's Reflections

Here is a little bit about how I became the Literary Executor of William Samuel's work.

Around 1975, while in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with my beloved husband and our precious young children, we all wandered into a book store. Out jumps this book, A Guide to Awareness and Tranquillity.....I opened it, read some pages and I knew immediately that I had found someone who was saying everything I felt but had not found the words for.

The author's words resonated as honest and undeniably true to me. I bought the book, took it home, read it thoroughly.

This book, word after word, was filled with wisdom and brilliance. It was liberating and profound, yet simple, tender and unpretentious. There was no doubt that what this man wrote was genuine and real. I was so thrilled and overjoyed with his work that I immediately wrote to the author, Mr. William Samuel.

To my everlasting joy, he wrote back promptly and thus we started a long and joyful 20 year correspondence of written letters, phone calls, visits and a mutually appreciative friendship.

William and his wife Rachel came to stay with us in our Colorado mountain home often.....they both loved nature and the glorious beauty of those high Rocky Mountains.

Reciprocally, my husband I went to visit with William on several different occasions. William lived in Mountain Brook, Alabama, which was charming and lovely little town.

On these visits William would most graciously give me much of his day. We would take walks or we might sit in his little Woodsong cabin and talk. He often gave this generous attention to many of those who visited him.

I was very blessed to be given a most marvelous 'teacher', and I knew it, and I listened to every word and I absorbed much more than I was fully aware of at that time.

I knew something special had taken place in my life on a May weekend in 1993, when I attended William's last seminar-talk. A large group had come to White, Georgia to hear William speak. (This exceptionally beautiful talk was recorded and we have it available on DVD). To my surprise, at the end of talks, William asked me to come up and sit with him and 'help answer questions'. We sat there together and the audience would ask questions, and William would turn to me and say "Sandy, you can answer that." I did my best.

I recognized that time as something very speical. Whatever it was that took place that weekend, it was slowly but surely transformational.

These years later, I have come to understand and know fully The Sweet Peace, The Child, The Light and The Grace that William spoke of. This is what leads me now.

When William passed on in 1996, I was given the literary rights to carrying on with his brilliant message, which includes the publishing and distribution of his material and books.

He told me many times in many ways that I was among those who are capable "of hearing the final statements of truth" and that "what I was finding would serve me well in the years ahead when it comes my time to help some of the weary travelers down the Way".

Many times he would tell me that I was well on my way to discovering the Child within and that I would arrive at the Real Awakening.

He trusted The Child of me, as I trusted That in him.

Now, these years later, I know he was quite right about it all.

William also knew, long before I did, that I understood him and his message clearly and correctly and this too is among the reasons why I was entrusted to carry on his work.

I have learned my lessons well, I have been tried and tested; I have proven myself worthy and now the knowledge of the Child within is my saving grace in the world. For this I am most grateful.

For William to have given me the rights to his work and the opportunity to share what I have come to understand is a delight and joy for me.

I love doing this work for both Bill, his wife Rachel and my beloved ones and my world, and mostly I do this to honor the Child that has taken my hand and leads me, so that others might find this Saving Grace, the Child within, and their divine relationship to God.

Therefore I feel very confident that I can write and share and help and answer any quesions you might have. So, I am sharing on William's website some of my own "Reflections". .

William said I would write a book one day and that I would be collaborating with him even after he was gone....well, my 'Reflections' are the beginning of such.
